For anyone looking to get their first taste of what Boquete and the Chiriqui province have to offer, a 3-day trip with Boquete Outdoor Adventures is a great option. This action-packed Panama vacation visits the country's breathtaking Pacific coast, the heart-pounding whitewater rapids and the unique cloud forest of Boquete. The trip offers a great opportunity to see the splendor of the Chiriqui Highlands and its Pacific coast first-hand, creating a journey that is impossible to forget.

Day 1 – Waterfall Hike at Lost Waterfalls Nature Reserve / Coffee Farm Tour

A Boquete Outdoor Adventures guide will meet you in the office at 8 am and drive you to the Lost Waterfalls Nature Reserve in the beautiful Boquete mountains. During this hike through the cloud forest, you will be serenaded by the sounds of babbling brooks and falling water as we visit some of the most beautiful scenery in Central America. While trekking along the Quebrada La Mina and some of Boquete's most exquisite waterfalls, you have the perfect opportunity to jump in for a refreshing shower.

Following the hike, you will spend the afternoon at the famous Finca Dos Jefes coffee farm, learning about and enjoying some of the world's finest organic coffee. This is a great opportunity to learn about the coffee process, from bean to cup, in the Boquete highlands. Once the tour is over, you will be delivered back to the Boquete Outdoor Adventures office. Included: transportation from and to the BOA office, guide(s), and Panamanian tipico lunch.

Day 2 – Whitewater Rafting on a Heart-Pounding Chiriqui River

This journey is sure to offer the kind of heart-pounding excitement that makes Chiriqui a famous whitewater rafting destination. After the 90-minute trip from Boquete to one of Chiriqui´s many roaring rivers, you will get the chance to take on the rapids one by one.

With runs ranging from Class 2 to Class 4, based on water levels, the Boquete Outdoor Adventures guides will pick the river that is right for the experience and skill level of the group. This trip is one of the highlights of any Boquete Outdoor Adventures package vacation and is one that no one will want to miss. Lunch is included and you will be returned to the Boquete Outdoor Adventures office after your thrilling day. Included: transportation to and from the BOA office, equipment, guides and lunch. MUST BRING: ORIGINAL PASSPORT for foreigners or cedula for Panamanians.

Day 3 – Sea Kayaking, Snorkeling and Fun in the Gulfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park

This exciting journey leaves the Boquete Outdoor Adventures office around 7 am and arrives at Boca Brava, where a boat will be waiting for the trip to Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park, around 8:30-9:00 am. This boat will make its way through the Laguna de Chiriqui, passing the mangrove forests before arriving at the park. This 14,740-hectacre group of islands is home to countless plants, exotic fish, and animals such as howler monkeys, leatherback turtles, dolphins, tiger herons, and more.

The day will be filled with sea kayaking or snorkeling, fishing, swimming or simply relaxing in a hammock and enjoying the sounds of the waves. This trip can be extended to an overnight excursion, with all lunches included in this memorable tribute to the tremendous natural resources found in the Chiriqui province. You will end your three days of excitement back in the Boquete Outdoor Adventures office at about 6 pm. Included: Transportation to and from the BOA office, motorboat, snorkeling and/or kayaking gear, guides and lunch.
