INSURANCE

Travel insurance and medical insurance is recommended for travelers booked on Boquete Outdoor Adventures tours.

Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive. Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care if the accident was not the fault of Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.

TRANSFERS / CREDIT

Clients who cancel more than 3 days prior to departure may have the option to apply their payment/deposit as a credit to another Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.. adventure within 1 year from the date of cancellation. Clients must request a credit voucher (either by email or in person).

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS

It is very rare that we would cancel a trip due to weather. Only if there is an extreme weather circumstance that we deem unsafe, we would cancel the trip and offer a full refund. However, most of our trips are not affected by weather, and if there is some of rain, the trip still goes rain or shine (recommended to bring a rain jacket to the tropics June-November). Please refer to individual tour descriptions for specific location and weather impact.

CANCELLED TRIPS

Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign-up making the trip economically unfeasible to operate. Most Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. trips are guaranteed with a minimum of two travelers, with some trips having a four person minimum. In cases where the tour is not economically feasible, Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. will inform clients prior to cancellation. A full refund of the cost is given, but Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by members preparing for the trip (i.e. nonrefundable air tickets, clothing, equipment, medical expenses). The company reserves the right to withdraw, alter or otherwise modify tours, itineraries, specific programs or activities at any time and without notice.

CANCELLED TRIPS (part 2)

Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to weather, government restrictions or regulations, protesting, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, or civil disturbances. The hydroelectric projects have dammed the rivers, and daily water release is dependent on government decisions in Panama City. If there is no release of water on any given day, the rafting trip may be changed to another river at the decision of Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. If the trip is cancelled, for the passenger, Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. will (1) provide alternate available trips to choose from or (2) refund the trip. The passenger agrees that risks are involved on rafting trips, which can include cancellations due to limited water in the rivers. No further liability will be assumed by Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRIP MEMBERS
